The beginning of a lifelong commitment

Sahera Hasan Memorial Trust was founded in memory of loved ones, inspired by a vision to bring hope and healing to rural Bangladesh.A life dedicated to the service of humanity" was the guiding philosophy of our forefathers. Inspired by their lifelong commitment to serving ordinary people. Our respected father, Late Mir Hasan Ali, was a distinguished printing entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the lifelong Treasurer of the then Manikganj serving people compassionately.
Together with our beloved mother, Late Sahera Khatun, he cherished a lifelong vision of serving humanity. To fulfill their unfulfilled aspirations and lifelong commitment to public welfare, all nine of their children—six sons and three daughters—established the Sahera–Hasan Memorial Trust in 2001 on our ancestral land.

Behind the Mission

The Trust was founded with the noble mission of providing healthcare services dedicated to the welfare of humanity.Even before the Trust's formal establishment, Professor Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum, the Chairperson of the Trust, initiated free medical services in 1986, providing healthcare to the local community at no cost.

Here are some of the remarkable individuals who built this dream:

Prof. Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum, Chairperson – A visionary, educator, and role model whose unwavering dedication made the impossible possible.

Late Hosne Ara Dilu – The family matriarch who guided her siblings with strength and grace.

Mir Mohsin Ali, MD – Serving on the ground, four days a week, as the medical director in the village.
Late Mir Liakat Ali, a passionate coordinator who maintained lasting relationships with doctors and patients alike.

Other committed members: Mir Ahmed Ali Salam, Ferdousi Ara Begum, Mir Monsur Ali Samad, Mir Sobhan Ali Biplob, and Mir Omar Ali — each contributing tirelessly in their own way.

The hospital was founded as a non-profit general hospital, equipped with emergency services and committed to providing round-the-clock medical care.

To provide emergency healthcare services to poor, distressed, helpless, and financially disadvantaged people, the Trust establishes and operates a non-profit general hospital, diagnostic center, and other healthcare facilities at its own expense.

Selfless Service

To foster a spirit of selfless service to humanity by inspiring all Trust members, healthcare professionals, and staff to dedicate themselves to serving others.

Health Awareness

To promote health awareness among poor, distressed, helpless, and economically disadvantaged communities through education, prevention, and accessible healthcare initiatives.

Humanitarian Support

To participate in humanitarian and public welfare initiatives and provide various forms of social support and assistance to vulnerable, disadvantaged, and underserved communities across Bangladesh with compassion and dignity.
